The Goodlettsville Help Center (GHC) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization which helps needy families, low income, unemployed, seniors, disabled and transients with food, clothing and financial assistance for those residents of zip code 37072 (Goodlettsville & Millersville).
Our Mission
To provide a centralized resource location for the emergency relief of the people within 37072 zip code area in a manner that promotes their return to self-sufficiency.
OUR SERVICES
We are the only agency of our kind in Goodlettsville and Millersville (37072) providing full service. In Whites Creek (37189) and Joelton (37080), we provide food and clothing only. These zip codes cover Davidson, Robertson and Sumner Counties.
Our services include:
Food – We are an emergency food bank of Second Harvest Food Bank inMiddle Tennessee.
Emergency assistance and financial aide (utilities, food, clothing, temporary lodging, prescriptions, household goods and transportation) for residents of zip code 37072.
A thrift store where the public can purchase gently used and new clothing, shoes, household goods, seasonal decor, toys and collectibles at reasonable prices.
Children’s toys and food baskets during the Christmas season.
A liaison to the Police Department for those seeking help.
Education: Basic Computer Classes and GED Preparation Classes.
A local site to apply for Food Stamps.
